Bavarian Madonna Thaler of Maximilian III Josef, KM-234.1, Davis #1953, 1st year of issue. The same design was used for a 1/2 Thaler, but Krause doesn't list one as being issued in 1760.
No, I stand by my initial conviction. There are just too many things not right about it. The date is too large. Maximilian Joseph's hair is not right, nor is his eye. The edge is wrong, almost looks like a collared strike.
Maybe it's a medal of some sort. That was my first impression, which is why I asked about the diameter.
I don't know exactly what it is, but it just doesn't look like a 1760 Bavarian thaler should (to my eye at least).
