I second this outcry....... price guide needs to show the correct price, not some number pulled out of a moose's ass.
6E 1799 8X5 Stars 700 850 1275 2500 1825 6250
9B 1802/1 Narrow Date 700 850 1275 2500 1775 5525
The 1825 & 1775 are for XF. I tried to tell my dealer he should cut me a break on those XFs because PCGS says so. He thought that was pretty damn funny. I sent a thing in to Q & A about it, but was ignored. These are only a couple of examples...
I also wish they would put VG grades for early half dimes and dimes. Not all of us are in the market for MS60...
1971 Lincoln Cent ms66rd CU says $300. Really a $20-$30 coin. (Same for most ms66rd's from the 70's)
1927-s Lincoln Cent ms64rd CU says $500. Really a $1500-$2000 coin. (Most recent sale I know of was $4000+)
With listing all 1970's Lincolns at $300 in ms66 and $350 in ms67 it is obvious THEY AREN'T EVEN TRYING, for each date's different. They should not be allowed to publish such INSANELY INCORRECT data. If they can't have the price guide or some portion of the price guide correct, THEY SHOULD ELIMINATE IT ALTOGETHER!
