Infrequent poster unite - I feel slighted

While RUSS and all the other 10,000 plus posters get accolades, those of us who invest multiple responses to threads of interest get no respect. While I am approaching the 2000 post marker, a modest feat for my 2-3 years on the forum, I probably have 2 or 3x that in total responses. Why not a category too for total responses? A response to a new thread or an old one takes the same amount of time. But I must admit that back in 4th grade I was a proponent of the same club. We had a book report club and whoever read the most books for the year got a prize. It didn't take me long to realize that reading a 200 page book on Davy Crockett
(he was the bomb then) was worth the same points as a 15 page book called "What is a Magnet" (by Herbert S. Zim). This was my first REGISTRY SET and I didn't even know it back then!! Needless to say I won the award with around 50 books and got some cycnical remarks from those who read real books. Sorry Laurie wherever you are.
And we all know we spend too much time here as it is. LESS FILLING....TASTES GREAT.....LESS FILLING is my choice. Selective responders deserve credit too. TASTES GREAT?

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Honestly, I wasn't aware that replies in the same thread counted, including those threads started by others. AT least from "gut feel" my post totals were hardly budging (at least it felt that way) and I deduced (wrongly of course) that you get one point per thread...period.
In my defense I offer to take a 1000 point cut in my totals. Frankly, anyone replying to fluff threads should get an automatic deduction.
Yeah, like this one.
Well we all make mistakes. It took me 6 months to figure out that I had a PM feature! The only one I know that took longer to figure that one out was Laura Legend. One of these days I'll even figure out how to change my icon! But that's another adventure.
Hey, what's going on with the all the gold bashers? Haven't heard a peep out of you guys in weeks? Takes all the fun out the forum.

But it was nice to know that we could if we wanted to and there wasn't much they could do about it until after the fact!

I'm not sure but note that now he knows each post counts and he has four on page one of this thread.
Practice does make perfect.
This is my second post here too, but I'm always looking for a good cheat thread.

EVP: I got to fire one test ICBM on my 4 knot whole puncher. But fired dozens of test MS48 Adcap torpedoes as weapons officer on USS Boston when we were selected to be the test firing platform in the Atlantic fleet. WE affectionately called ourselves the "Love Boat" as we did a lot of port calls over 12 months to Port Everglades and Ft. Lauderdale to reload prior to heading out to the Tongue of The Ocean range to launch them. We also got rained torpedoes on when down on the range by every helo pilot within striking distance.
They got the full use of USS Boston.

Yes they made 427 Fairlanes. One of the most sought after High Proformance cars is the 1964 Fairlane Thunderbolt. For 1965 and 66 I am not real sure but a 427 version was made in 1967, very few of them. Also there were 427 Comets which are much rarer than a Fairlane. The Comet would be comparable to a 1894S Dime versus a 1916D Dime which would be the Fairlane.
Hey hows that for Coins, Cars and Ra....er Dogs. and this is post # 5392.
Ken
Ken, I've heard and seen photos of the T-bolt. Awesome car. I came very close to making a turquoise 1964 Galaxie XL convertible my first classic car in 1992. But I decided on a '1969 roadrunner and never looked back. It was all Mopars since. We could have been Ford buddies. AT least my wife's car is a Crown Victoria.
EVP, nice dogs ya got there! Would you trade one of them for a 1852 seated dollar??
