Clad Ike grades are in from the FUN show.....

I put in a rather large (for me) batch of Clad Ikes at the FUN show.
Grades are all over the place,....but overall, I'm pretty happy with them.image
Only one nice "Cha-Ching".......but enough little "Ching$" to make it worthwhile.
I haven't figured out how to post a link yet,...maybe some one can help me out.
Batch #3107998

Wow. A lot of great coins there including some which are extrememely tough.

Are any of these from mint sets or rolls or are they mostly indeterminate?

Looks like mostly rolls except for the half dollars.

    CladKing,

You are correct, mostly rolls.....Some are toners, but I can't remember which ones.....
'Took awhile to put this one together!
Also had a nice batch of Ike and SBA errors.....
Highlighted by a 76-S PCGS MS62 Silver Die Trial Adjustment Strike (I didn't even know these existed!) Paid dearly $$ for this one.....
and a 1976-D Type 2 PCGS MS64 Flip-Over In The Collar (FOUND this one raw in a BU roll!!!)imageimageimage

Hey gandyjai. Can you post a list of some of the sba's errors you got graded? Also, when you get the "76-S PCGS MS62 Silver Die Trial Adjustment Strike". I would like to see a photo.

I take it this was the cha-ching of the group. Nice job. I do Army contracting work in support of PEO, IEW&S for my main living, so I also like Ike! I have all three complete PCGS registry sets (MS, MS+varieties, and PR), except for a 1972 T1, which I am still looking for in about MS64. Are you interested in selling any of your 1972 T1 PCGS MS64s?

..............and the randomness of their submission selection for grading comtinues to amaze me. it remains the one aspect of the current PCGS logjam that is without explanation. i am slowly starting to believe that they have our submissions in a large pile somewhere and the graders simply walk to the pile and pick up whatever they choose to pick up.

what a paradox it is, the notion of precision grading with such a scatterbrained selection process!!!

    gcoin,

I am unable to post pics to the forum. If you email me at: gandyjai@yahoo.com
