    Hello,

I live in the Atlanta area and there's never any premier (Tri-Star) or big shows that come here around any longer. There's weekly shows and I've only been to one of them in the GA metro area. I'd like to know if there's any good ones for vintage baseball/football or graded cards.

    I'm familiar with:

    1. Duluth, Outlet Mall @ I85 and Pleasant Hill (not that great for older cards)
    2. Marietta, NW atlanta up I75 (never been to this one)
    3. Roswell @ Holiday Inn (never been to this one)

There use to be decent shows at some old hotel near downtown off of I75 (Castle??)

As well, there use to be big weekend shows in Lilburn (Gwinnett County).

All in all, Georgia/Atlanta is bad for sports card shows. Haven't been to a good one since the National came through here.

I'm open to any comments on the above shows or recommendations of stores to check out.
    Enjoy your collection!
    Erik
  • There's a decent sized show at the Belz Outlet Mall in Orlando about 3-4 times per year.
FSU - where the women are women and the men are too!
  • You said it estang !! I also live in Atlanta, there is absolutely nothing here that I know of for vintage collectors. The only good shows used to be at the Castlegate hotel. I could spend 5 hours there easily. The little shows in Atlanta now take 5 minutes to walk through unless you are looking for the latest die-cut, foil, numbered, jersey limited to whatever, that nobody will want this time next year.
Collecting vintage material, currently working on 1962 topps football set.
  • At least you guys have SOME shows to go to. Try finding ANY shows in Charleston SC. This is a ghost town when it comes to stuff like that.

  • THANKS bhl2359!! I called both malls about a month ago and asked if they ever have anything like going on and they said they never do anything special like that except boat shows and law enforcement displays. Even the guy at the card shop we go to said that there's nothing here anytime. This is great! Now I have to talk my husband into hoarding some cash for a few weeks for the shows! Once again, thanks so much!
