My 71 Football Set is 100% Time to go!!

Hi All,

My 1971 Topps Football Set is 100% complete. I want to thank a lot of folks on this board for helping me out. This set is much over looked and seriously tough in PSA 8 and higher. Some things have come up here at home. Nothing bad. I'm just 99% sure I will sell this set. I'm either going to Ebay the set as a whole or individually. Any ideas on the way to go would be appreciated. If any one has an interest please email me at ega2@iwon.com. ed way to go glad to see you reach the goal line.maybe we can have another beer together next time theres a big show in ac .If you do break it apart you can count me in for a offer on most of the redskins and a few others.Just my opinion but breaking it up on ebay i think gives the biggest return.Selling it is a set though a auction house brings all the cash at 1 time and is less headache.So if your not in a rush for cash and have some time i would ebay it in singles.OUTSTANDING JOB MY MAN great set ED. Spacetrak SMR is $6056. Art and I will have to have many beers to sell at that price. Art, you are a class act. Thanks for your help with the set. Two super nice cards in PSA 9 were from you. Thanks for being so cool. Too bad you had to get home that day. Me and the wife staid for the show then went to LBI for another week. Again, thanks for helping with the set.

Congratulations. The 1971 set is super difficult in high grade condition. Those borders are brutal! I've bid on some of the cards from that set on ebay but the PSA 9's almost always seem to sell for more than SMR.

If you're thinking of selling, I think you would do better selling them individually rather than as a set. I would list 10-20 auctions on ebay for a given week. This will allow buyers to save on combined shipping while not causing pocketbook overload.

Hi Guys,

I will get back to all of you today about the set. I'm going to make my decision on break up or whole set sale today as well. It's not just the money put into the set it is also the time and effort. I'm also aware that there are very few buyers that can cough up a huge chunk of change for the whole set. I'm not real shy. So, if any one has an offer let me know.
