I was surprised to see PSA and Orlando mentioned in a Sporting News article. I'll sell you my copy for fifty bucks if you're interested.
  • Is that the way you get to 12,324 posts ? Very substantive stuff, Vargha.

Why don't you tell us what you had for dinner as well. Perhaps you got your forums mixed up?
  • 3 item combo at Panda Express. I doubled up on the chicken with string beans and went with firecracker shrimp to round out the platter. A Mountain Dew was my beverage of choice.

    What, no fortune cookie?

  • Actually an almond cookie was the baked good of choice this evening...and a fine way to end a quality meal.

  • Don't be shy!!!

You can post what was for dinner on the board.

If you are going to get razed about the lack of substantial information in your posts, you might as well be informative about dinner.image
Please be kind to me. Even though I'm now a former postal employee, I'm still capable of snapping at any time.

I haven't had dinner yet and the PM's will serve as a reminder for my feeble memory to tell you what I ate. I anticipate bread as well as water with lemon slices to be part of the fare. I'll have to fill you in on the rest later.

  • I am surprised that you didn't post a picture of Joe's car plates. On some message boards they do.

Anthony -- I accept your gracious offer. PM Griffins if he neglects to tell you the whole story. I hear he might even have pictures.
  • I made a cajun staple tonight...crabmeat imperial. A triad of celery, red-orange-yello bell peppers, and onion sauteed with olive-oil, shallots and cajun spices then tossed over flaked crabmeat. The mix is then lightly folded with homemade mayo (just enough to coat and moisten) placed in a baking dish and topped with creole whole-seed mustard and bread crumbs and cayenne then baked at 450 for 12-15 minutes. I served it over a buttered full-grain rice... Joe was nowhere to be found and my invoice still hasn't popped.

It was Spicy Cashew Chicken for the entree with Avocado Eggrolls for the appetizer for me. Anthony failed to snap any photos. (Probably because we could have been found guilty by association image)

<<Anthony failed to snap any photos. (Probably because we could have been found guilty by association ) >>

Exactly. You have to know when to show discretion. Like when you still have a few submissions in the grading room.
Should've avoided those 8 glasses of ice tea. Maybe I'd have slept tonite if I had.

Are you skipping the Long Island in that statement? image

If it had been Long Island I would've been able to sleep.

Way to rub it in, Vargha. image
Here you guys are having a nice dinner and talking cards while I'm going through boxes of miscellaneous archived files with a client whose idea of a filing system is filling a box and taping it shut when it's full, and eating burrito with mystery meat from some place in East L.A. that probably is overdue for a health inspection.

Oh, and murcerfan, without photographers, there would be no cards.

  • ....and without cards I could afford more than a burrito with mystery meat.

Tina's burritos are 4/$1.00 now, I feel like I am back in school. HAHA!

dstudeba - it wasn't about affording dinner. It was about being at a client's plant working through dinner and having the client send one of his employees out with instructions to pick up food. At least it didn't make me ill.

murcerfan - without a little anarchy, we'd be acknowledging that the Yankees beat the Cubs in the 2003 World Series. image
