This is what happened when I used MS70 on a old copper.

1: It didn't remove all the green. (afraid to leave MS70 on the coin any longer, it started bubbling on the coin)
2: It made the coin look really dusty.
3: It sure got rid of the grease.
My opinion: Don't use it on copper.

    That is why I have sworn never to use anything on copper but acetone as a degreaser.

    I never use anything on copper other than lighter fluid or acetone to remove PVC or dirt, grease et cetera. MS70 and E-Z-est will leave it with a very unnatural look (as you seem to have learned).
