...because the one I recently started buying from doesn't even come close to matching this description.
I don't know what kind of experiences you guys have had, but I've bought vintage "NM" cards from a couple of dealers on that site that even pro wouldn't have graded NM. PSA would have graded them vg-ex - ex at best. I've never bought a card off ebay that was overgraded to THAT extent. I probably could have gotten a refund (they were fairly cheap cards - I was testing the waters), but Mr. Veres is crazy if he doesn't think any of the beckett dealers misrepresent their product.
On the positive side, I will say the cards I purchased from Phils Cards and Diamond 9 were graded accurately. So, out of four dealers, two were honest. My odds on ebay haven't been much worse, but, to be fair, I am more careful about who I buy from on ebay than I was when shopping on Beckett.
