1987-w Gold Eagle

I recently had a gold eagle fall out of the sky and land in teh palm of my hand.. so to speak.. lol.. But.. I have zero knowledge when it comes to coins. Sooo, I was hoping perhaps someone could let me know about what this is worth... where I might be best off selling it... anything at all that'd give me a bit of a clue.

It's a $50 Gold Eagle.. PCGS PR69DCAM 1987-W.

(I don't know what that means, but I figured it'd be helpful.. lol)

I don't have pictures or anything yet, My digital was too grainy/blurry to even bother saving. Anywho, if you need any other info to make a fair assessment, I'd be glad to try.

The last one that sold on ebay went for $575. If you sell to a coin dealer you would get less. If you're in a hurry to sell, you'd want to sell it to a dealer who deals in those items. Perhaps other board members could point you in the right direction.
