Thought I would share my excitement with my fellow collectors

I made a deal for a Boggs recollection collection auto. I had only seen the fron scan of the card. And asumed it was like most a 1/9 or about that. The seller was very vague and short on words when we emailed. SO I sent a low ball offer he declined I wished hime luck with his auction. An hour later I get an email go ahead and send the Money Via Paypal. I paid and recieved the card today until I turned it over I had no idea it was a 1/1. I am so happy I am going to Disney Land Tomorrow.

My first .....1/1 card.

Uhhhh, not to play devil's advocate but aren't those "recollection" things fakes?

    Or were you being facetious?

    You are correct

  • lol poor guys don't know anything about modern cards

no, they are 100% real and are inserted into packs

LOL Just checked and they are real. The stamp is just so cheap looking. Much like those cheesy aftermarket gold-foil stamps that we see on ebay.

  • the original Donruss cards are bought back from collectors and dealers from Donruss and are then stamped with the recollection and serial # stamp, signed by the featured player, and then inserted into new Donruss packs

  • Boggsy,

Please be kind to me. Even though I'm now a former postal employee, I'm still capable of snapping at any time.
