What to do if...

Seller received my payment, says they sent cards, but I never received after two weeks (no insurance, signature confirm, etc.) We both have excellent ratings. Do I suggest we split the difference, or is it on the seller? One lesson learned is that in the future I will demand that cards over a certain $ be sent with some confirmation.

    Your job is to get the payment safely to the seller. Seller's job is to get the cards safely to buyer. He should be fully responsible unless there is specific disclaimer that says seller not responsible for uninsured packages. If there was such disclaimer, I would say you are SOL.
