he's a guy that works at a gas station down from my house. Of course, here in Tennessee, everyone that works at a gas station is named Elvis. I'm pretty sure I did see Sasquatch on Oprah the other day though. Maybe it was Roseanne Barr, but I'm pretty sure it was sasquatch.
Hes talking about has anyone seen. Jimmy Hoffa is missing and no has seen him. Sasquatch has been seen hasn't he. And didn't we all see Elvis at a burger King in Kalamazoo.
I hope that Dmitri doesnt break down and start crying in front of Oprah because of all of the tough questions that she asks him about Davalillo and the GAI stories.

The last two times I saw Evis was up in Vegas. On Friday night he was dealing Blackjack at the San Remo and the next morning, I shot craps with him at the Vegas Hilton.
Wanted: Bell Brands FB and BB, Chiefs regionals especially those ugly milk cards, Coke caps, Topps and Fleer inserts and test issues from the 60's. 1981 FB Rack pack w/ Jan Stenerud on top.

LMFAO
Did anyone catch the show? Did Dmitri talk about baseball cards at all?
That was the best laugh I have had in quite a while. I just pictured this gas station guy with a few teeth missing at Studio 54 and it could go on forever.
Looking for 77 cloth 9s and 10s. 54 Red Hearts and now 64 Stand ups
Elvis has a better chance of appearing on Oprah than Dmitri has of talking about cards. "Oprah,...I'd like to let all of your viewers know......I still have faith in PSA!!" I wonder what they'll talk about.
If someone watches, please report to all! Thanks -- I'll be in class.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
I forgot about the Oprah show till a few minutes ago and turned it on. The good news is I saw the Dmitri part, the bad news is, it had nothing to do w/ cards. The segment was the last five minutes of the show where some 51 year old Tigers fan got to pitch to Dmitri. The guy was living out his Field Of Dreams, although Dmitri was crushing the ball. The guy was in the studio talking to Oprah and Dmitri was only in uniform at the spring training complex...jay
I saw the segment, too. It actually started at about 15 minutes before five, so you missed some of the prelude. Basically it was a guy named Craig, a lifelong baseball fan that even has a field named after him. His wife wrote a letter to Oprah, asking for this dream to come true, since he had been such an excellent father and husband.
So Dmitri basically showed up at his work one day, and everyone was happy. He got a jersey with his name on it, and a flight to Florida to pitch batting practice. One of his pitches even resulted in Dmitri cracking his bat! They were having a lot of fun, and it was clear that Craig was living out his dream.
Dmitri told me that he had "a surprise for the man", so I wonder if there was some additional element that perhaps was cut from the show because of time constraints. Dmitri's a really nice guy, and he really made Craig feel great....

I saw the segment also. As a Tiger fan, it did my heart good to see this guy get the opportunity to pitch to Dmitri. Manager Alan Trammell and Rokkie Nook logan were also in the segment.
Go Tigers!
Collecting all graded Alan Trammell graded cards as well as graded 1984 Topps, Donruss, and Fleer Detroit Tigers

Sorry, couldn't suffer through an Oprah show even if
Jimmy Hoffa, Sasquatch, and Evis were going to be on.
"How about a little fire Scarecrow ?"
Who's Evis?
JEB.

I know who Elvis is, I just wondered who this Evis guy was and why he was mentioned along with the likes of Hoffa and Sasquatch?
JEB.
I totally missed it. Doctor has me on some codine cough syrup and things are a bit foggy.
JEB - Sorry, I should have clarified :
Evis is the name of the alien that landed at Area 54, and has been hiding out ever since ...
