L and C Coins?

Has anyone ever had any problems with L and C Coins?

Also does anyone know anything about Global Shipping? I believe this is run through the US Postal Service?

They do not have tracking I take it from what I read on the internet?

I bought many coins from L&C. The only problems I had were that I returned a few because they weren't up to the grade on the holder. No problems getting suitable replacement coins.

You're probably talking about Global Priority Mail. No, it doesn't come with tracking, but neither does domestic Priority Mail.

I've bought a few SEGS 63's chin bars on ebay for $ 20......

    Hmmmm ok

Why would you use Global Priority to mail if they don't have tracking?

Cost. It's the least expensive way to ship overseas and if it's under 16 oz., doesn't need a customs sticker to most countries. Fact is, there are very few shipping methods that provide for tracking once the package leaves the US anyway. Shipping overseas is frequently a crapshoot.

JoshL, they are one of my favorite dealers. I have their March 2004 catalog in front of me. I'll quote their shipping policy from this catalog for you:

"California residents add 7 3/4% sales tax. Orders under $500 must add $3.00 postage and handling. All orders are sent insured by a private insurance company or the post office. On orders from foreign countries see our mail order policy for postage instructions."

NOTE: Here is a quote from their mail order policy:

"4. Please add $3.00 postage on all orders under $500--orders over $500 are sent postpaid. On orders from Foreign countries, we charge the actual postage costs. Please add enough to your order to cover the postage. We will refund any excess postage."

I've purchased from them before. I had no problems and will buy from them again (when they have something that I'm looking for at a price I can afford).
