We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
Might want to consider having it re-holdered since it's in the old style NGC holder.
With those older holders, there's a strong probability that the paper insert will impart some color to the coin, which in this case, may be detrimental.

some reason you can't find room for it in your collection, I'll be very happy to take it off your hands.

My sentiments also. It would be $4.00 well spent.

I would however leave it in the older NGC holder. While it's true that the older NGC holders did tone silver coins mostly in shades of dark golds, I believe it was chemicals in the white plastic insert and not the paper tag since the coins tended to tone around the rims primarily as well as the reverse of the coins. Also, it's been my experience that the old holders would tone the coin to a degree and then stop and the coin would stablize and not tone any further. Also, with a coin already this deeply toned, it;s not likely IMO that the old holder would have any future affect on the coin. If this coin has not changed any in the past few years, it's not likely it will in the future IMO, and the older holders are cool!
