Someone question the authenticity of the Ted Williams over at the Beckett Board when I first bought it, props to you....too lazy to go back and check who it was hopefully the dealer will quietly refund my money back without any trouble..but 3 great additions to my HOF Set.

Of Course all these cards are autographed...

    I am not selling since they go into my HOF set up on the PSA Registry...you should have just bid more on the card when it was up image

    I was watching that 74 Willie Mays card and think you got a sweet deal. The 53 Reese won't grade out to well but its still a classic.

    Good to be back, Thanks for not bidding against me...we can come up with an understanding That mays I can't wait till I get that looks like an absolute beauty...

    Yeah I went a little crazy this month I had too...still have Only 55 HOF Auto's....I might make one big purchase this month....would be a sweet addition if I can pull it off...

    Yeah, I have a bunch coming back soon. From PSA/DNA I'm hopeing it will be here any day now.
    I'll probley post the pictures when they arrive so you all can see them.

    I also requested a Hall of Fame Autograph's for Football
    Let's hope PSA will get that one up soon. I have about 60 autographs to submit to PSA/DNA on those, I'm not in a rush to send those in yet. Because I can used the money to fill in the holes for my Baseball HOF set.

    Ullr- I remember you out bidded me on that lot of 4 cards or was it 6? with the Ray Schalk and Dazzy Vance signatures, I was wonder why you haven't added those cards to your registry yet? Those are indeed great looking cards and would bring out the coolness of your set.

    What do you think about the idea of PSA/DNA including the grade of the signature itself on the flip? That would be a nice touch in my opinion.

    Are they going to do that? is that in the plans?

    I would like to see that...all autographs are not the same...as nice as that Joe D. is that Sam Rice is done with a ball point pen...I would wecome that idea.

    Too late, somebody placed the minimum bid, which was kind of dumb. when the buy it now price was only $20.

    Oh well.

    AND graded,
    but by an "off-brand" company?

    I picked these up cheap recently
    planning on crossing them over eventually
    to PSA, but I actually like them

    I will win certified autos from those companies but not the non-certified ones...because I would have to send it to PSA/DNA anyways//

    Yeah, I buy card slabbed by other companies and crack'em out all the time. I then submit them to PSA/DNA I'd only do Hall of famers, it wouldn't be worth it to do a nobody because it gets expensive submitting it at $20. a card. However not every card is authentic, recently purchased a Donruss Heroes signed Ted Williams GAI 6 and cracked it out and sent it in to PSA/DNA and it didn't pass. Which I'm kind of upset about. Maybe I should have sent it in slabbed and do a cross-over. Also I bought a Mickey Mantle card slabbed from the Mantle collection. Graded by CTA 8 Cracked that out, and sent it in. Came back not slabbed because it didn't pass. Sometimes I think it's better to send in the cards already slabbed and do a cross-over. I also don't think PSA/DNA are 100% experts, I had a Joe Dimaggio card signed by Dimaggio before his passing, I paid $50. and got him to sign it my card at a show. I sent that to PSA/DNA a few years later and the card was rejected. Even though I know he signed it himself because I witnessed it. So I know for sure even PSA/DNA experts aren't 100% accurate all the time.

    Jery, of course they're not 100% accurate. But I'm sure they would prefer to err on the side of caution rather than slap a sticker on every card that looked fairly legit.

    That lot was 4 cards (Vance, Schalk, Giles, & Harnett) I have'nt added them to my set because my avg grade was so low at first that I have only been adding modern cards of late. I also try to add cards in groups of 10 or more so my set rating jumps a bit. When I add a single card and my set rating increases by 0.02 points the satisfaction isn't there.

    Thanks for requesting a football auto set. I was hoping GAI would get their act together and start a Registy, but things seem pretty slow to progress over there.
