1975 Topps - could this Ryan be trimmed?

Hello everyone! One quick question about an auction please. Could the Ryan be trimmed in the photo? (top-right card from BVG). It appears much smaller than the Griffey beside it.

I'd say it's trimmed. The lower grade for "surface" usually indicates a trimmed card. A bit of good advice would be to avoid BVG and stick to PSA, SGC, and GAI.
