pecan waffles it is. if a card can make it to you raw with no damage. i should be able to slap a label on a waffle and you can be having breakfast in days. i will send the syrup and butter in a different shipment. if you put the syrup on the waffle the label keeps sliding off.
now on a serious note : jay has been a good sport to put up with all of this. but he has his moments also. i have the postman looking for me with a priority package. it's from jay, i open it and it is a box of fruit loops, a set of kellogg's cards and 54 quarts of kool-aid and a popsicle kit. do you know how much sugar you have to use in 54 quarts of kool-aid. i had to take out a loan
so i don't think waffles are over the line. DON"T EAT THE POSTMARK
FAB4 - You are over-estimating the post office personnel, they will let a PSA slab w/ ample postage reach its destination, but don't expect a waffle to reach the 1000 mile destination. And what are you gonna do for an encore, send a smoked turkey for Xmas w/ my address carved into the bird? ...jay
this year was kind of boring, a smoked turkey in a bag then in a box with proper postage and address labels..this year maybe a live turkey with your named shaved into the feathers. the options are endless. thanks for the new suggestions.

I dunno - I do recall specifically that the Post Office allowed pig ears to be shipped to Mike Tyson a month or two after the Holyfield incident....
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
Rec'd 2 more today... A Steve Fuller courtesy of PURELYPSA and a Stargell from GLYN. Both arrived unharmed and no worse for wear. I'll be leaving shorty for the airport (when the wife is ready!!!) so I wont be back til next weekend, will report any new findings upon my return.....jay

Boys & Girls, here is the latest addition to this unique experiment. This week I rec'd 2 items, the Krys Kolanos from BLADEFOX, A GAI card in fact, it arrived unharmed w/ no cracks. Another thing I rec'd is a small chunk of paper w/ 2 stamps, my address and a notation "Love to know your thoughts on the grade" It was placed in a USPS larger envelope that they send damaged goods in. So I have no idea what this is about. If anybody sent this, please post, Email or PM me with the story. The stamps weren't postmarked, so I have no idea where it was sent from. Thanks again to all who played. If anybody had sent a card and it wasn't acknowledged in this post, please let me know what you sent and when....jay
Dang, Jay - that top picture actually was a 1984 Donruss Joe Morgan PSA 7 ST card that I swear could pass for PSA 10....

MS - So I take it, you had the card inside a brown paper bag-ish envelope? Who knows if it wouldda got here if you labeled it the old fashioned way, on the slab directly ...jay

Jay:
I took a piece of the brown strapping tape, and I *DID* apply it to the PSA card directly. Not sure how/when it got disengaged - I'm pretty sure the brown strapping tape was all moistened up when I applied it. I applied it to the back of the card. Too bad it didn't make it - 'twas a nice card!

Brian I sent out two PSA cards and a toploader. The toploader came back for insufficient stamps - I didn't know that an item that requires special handling needs extra postage.
The two PSA holders - I would like the person who gets them to "pass them on" like a chain letter - I would like to see how long it takes for them to be "mishandled?"
