Another interview coming up.

Doing a 10 minute interview with Priest Holmes (via phone). Anyone have any questions? They want to get it done this week.

Where'd he get a name like Priest?

Also, ask him if the Baltimore backfield of him and Jamal Lewis was the best ever.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

Ask him about his father who re-enlisted in the Army so he could serve his country to fight in Iraq.
To be honest, I'd rather have an interview w/ the father then the son...jay

I'd like to know his feelings on charging the very fan base that indirectly pays his salary on how much he charges for an autography and why.

I just don't understand active players that are millionaires charging the prices that they do. If you're retired, it's one thing. Even then some of these recently retired superstars charging these prices is ridiculous.

I just don't understand the autograph market. I read a letter from SCD's current mag, whereby this guy was looking to close out his needed signatures for a 500 home run ball or something like that. In trying to get the last couple of signatures, the promoter of the stars he needed were going to charge him more based upon the fact that he had just a few left. The reasoning had something to do with ensuring the secondary market for the balls remained high. INSANE! I'd shoved that ball up his arse or bean him in the head with it...or at least I'd feel like reacting that way.
    Enjoy your collection!
    Erik

Not yet. It will be a bit since he is doing interviews for other sites also. I will only have 10 minutes for the Priest Holmes interview.
