Its only a matter of time and Bonds will be always known as the biggest cheater in baseball. Couldn't
of happened to a nicer guy!

    I'm with ya on that - baseball can't afford this at all right now - this is beyond Major! I don't have to be friends with Bonds so don't care much about his disposition - he's tops on the list of super contributors to the game - steroids notwithstanding - hitting that round ball at 90+ is one of the hardest things to do in sports.

    Well lets see...this guy who was busted was good friends with Bonds. Barry somehow blew up and gained freak muscle mass in a year or two going from a 40 HR hitter to breaking the home run record. I'm sure roids had nothing to do with it. Everyone knows Bonds was juicing as well as well as many other ball players. The question is will they put a * by the records or not? If they pull out rock hard evidence to prove it I say strip him of the record...just like in the olympics...if players are proven to have cheated on a later date, they can take away their medals.

    Just saying that this is a killer topic for the sport and will also have an impact on collectibles. If he falls, so be it - I'm not saying I condone what he did - just look at his size in the 80's - I agree - I mentioned that to my wife years ago when he "all of a sudden" looked like the Hulk. It's a shame, for what I am saying is: his talent overall was good enough w/o the roids. When the Pres. of the US mentions this in a state of the union speech, you know there's a ton of reporters who would love to get the spotlight - maybe a pulitzer - and nail these guys. It's just for guys like us - this is a killer - hard to swallow - hard to accept.

    Mcgwire hit 49 hrs as a rookie!!! so maybe intense weight training and creatine and andro! which is all leagal doesnt give him an asterik by his name!

    I for one hope Mark Mcgwire keeps his hof status!! He is a class act!! Barry Bonds i hope they drag through the mud!!! just for the fact of pulling out of the card companies!

    Don't waste your time, Beachbum. Commie girl is (a) too chicken to accept, and/or (b) too cheap to honor his bet when he loses. I'm still waiting on my money from the Miami win over FSU in this year's Orange Bowl. He/she is a punk and a loser.
