WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG????????

I sent my submission last Monday. I tracked the package and the PO says that my package arrived and was in PSA's offices on Thursday. They still have not logged my submission. Has anyone else had them take this long to log a submission? I think the "Guarantee" starts when they log the submission. I am right with that? If so, then they could log my submission in say September 1, and then post my grades ten days later, and PSA is still in the limits of the 10 day guarantee.image

I guess I am too anxious. I've just never had them take this long before.

    Holiday weekend doesn't help...
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
  • I sent a submission on 2/6. Friday they called me because I miscounted the cards in the submission, and told me that they recived it on 2/9. It finally showed up in the system yesterday and say it was recieved on 2/16.

  • Same thing.
I sent out a 40 card set registry special submission along with my 7 free submissions.

My 7 free submissions were received 2/10, graded 2/16, and mailed out 2/17.
The set registry submission special wasn't in the system till 2/16. Thought that was a little lame.

I did get a call from Brad at PSA about a mislabeled card of mine. He said the turnaround times have been more like 20 days instead of the 35.

  • Glad to hear I'm not the only one wondering where my submission is. I usually don't submit that often, but I recently submitted an order for the set registry special and received them back within 2 weeks! Guess my expectations this time around was a little higher.
  • I myself am wondering where my package is? PSA shows that it shipped on the 11th. I just can't wait to see the 1954 Topps baseball PSA 8's.

PSA is buying time. I sent off two packages on Wednesday overnight so they would be there on Thursday. The two packages sat there for three business days. And the customer service rep. I spoke to was not only rude to me, but was a LIAR. Yes, I know it is pretty harsh words. I hope Joe is reading this too.
I called in and asked why my package was not placed into the system on Friday. Remember, I sent it off on Wed. and it was to arrive the next day.
She told me that the packages were not at the post office on Friday and that is the reason why they did not pick it up. I called the USPS and they said that they arrived on Thursday no problem at 12:43 in the afternoon.
I called the girl back up and she said the problem was I sent it to the wrong zip code and it was sitting at the wrong post office off of Camel hoof Dr or something. I said what???? I told her that I make many mistakes but I know PSAs mailing address by heart and the past 400 invoices were correct.
To make a longer story short. I spent about an hour finding out what was going on. My package sat at the CORRECT post office from Thursday to Monday. Wouldn't PSA be liable for not picking up packages in a timely manner? An example would be if they were damaged after the package arrived at the post office and the package just sat idle with other packages sitting on top of each other.

Looking for high grade rookie cards and unopened boxes/cases
  • I have learned to have alot of patience when it comes to cards and grading, thanks to PSA. My cards have been there almost a month they can keep them another month I really dont care any more. I can always use the free vouchers for my next submission. Besides I have to send back a card any way and have the HAIR removed from the holder of my 1990 OPC PSA 9.

    Sorry for the double post...

I sent in two 25 card submissions in the same box last Friday FedEx. They recieved the package Monday (as planned, FedEx is always reliable), but only one of the two submissions was entered on Tuesday into the system. What about the other one, if they were sent together? I'm not worried, but it seems odd.
