Just purchased a 1962 Jefferson in PR-68DCAM and a 1957 in PR-68.

The auction only had a picture of the front of the coin but it looked like a very nice coin from that picture. I thought I would take a chance on it since the seller has a 7 day return policy. Here is the picture that was in the auction.

What do you think of it? I will take some better pictures of it when I receive it in the mail. All opinions are appreciated.

hey Kyle

i had that coin on my watch list but opted to wait for a PR69DCAM. it looks like it has nice contrast but the overall frost is hard to judge, especially with only an obverse picture. i've purchased from that seller before and he probably would have sent a reverse picture if you'd asked. please post agin after you receive it.

Keets, I will post pics when I get it. This coin will be just right for my set. There is no way that I could afford to buy PR-69 DCAM. I figure with the money that was not spent on getting the higher grade coin I can now purchase a few more upgrades.

I just now spotted an inventory list from a certain nationally known dealer that arrived in today's mail. He wants $240 for this coin ... hope you didn't pay more than that!

Tonight must really be my night. I was able to get 2 upgrades for my collection. BNE just told me he had a 1957 in PR-68 so I am getting it also. Man I am really excited. Can't wait to get both of the coins.

Whoa ... a BNE pedigreed coin. That is nice ... I have a few myself. He is great, Kyle. Always kind of nice to be able to list your coin as being pedigreed to the owner of the No. 1 Registry set.

Here is another 1962 that is up for auction right now. Currently this coin is at $50.

From the two obverse pics I would much rather have the coin that I won.

I had to see if this was one of mine from Heritage Orlando Bullet Sale. Sent them my entire PCGS PR Jeff set to them for it and 2 PR69DCams were in it.

They only went for $195 and $205 so I thought maybe you were referring to one of them. Guess not @ PR68DC.
