Looks cool, too! They should just throw the Cracker Jacks
loose in the box so you get that authentic caramel staining. image

I like to look at gcxonline.com since they post scans of the promo sheets pretty quickly and I came across this set yesterday. It does look like a winner. The horizontal card of Willis is very appealing, and I've always loved the red backgrounds. I've always wanted to open a case of something, this might be a good one, coinciding with tax return and all. Might get sick on all the Cracker Jack, though.

There is supposed to be one owner in the checklist, TBD. You don't often see owners on cards at all (except Mack). Steinbrenner was on an early checklist for Yankee Signature, I wonder if TOpps got him. He's the only current owner I can think of with the notoriety for a card. Unless its Selig, ugh.
    WANTED:
2005 Origins Old Judge Brown #/20 and Black 1/1s, 2000 Ultimate Victory Gold #/25
2004 UD Legends Bake McBride autos & parallels, and 1974 Topps #601 PSA 9
Rare Grady Sizemore parallels, printing plates, autographs

    Nothing on ebay
  • I passed on this product direct. There will be a few of those die-hard retro collectors for this set, but I see it being a bust overall.
Baseball Card Heaven, the closest card shop to the Las Vegas Strip.

Our current ebay auctions, and of course BaseBallCardHeaven.com
  • KallMalone,

You think 2004 Topps Cracker Jack will be a bust? I'm just a casual collector, so I don't have much knowledge of what makes a new issue "hot." But I love the Cracker Jack design so much that I pre-ordered 3 boxes. Why do you think it won't be popular (and, as a card store owner, I value your opinion highly on this)? Are there just too many "retro" sets out there?

I THINK IT WILL BE POPULAR.
Given the fact how popular the heritage sets are and how well the t 205 new cards have done. i think people will chase these just for the commons plus there are a bunch of 1 of 1 hits in it. im selling them for 55$ a box on my site. so they pretty good price for this product also.
