    It's probably ACG Packaging... the guy's in Boca Raton, which isn't far.

  • Thanks Melikecoins, I've been trying to find one of those for some time now. The only other one I have seen had a 1793 chain cent in it and I couldn't get it.

    Airplanenut is correct, those are from ACG's encapsulation service. They do use ACG shells but the grades are provided by the person paying for the service. ACG does NOT examine the coins at all. They just seal them in the slabs. From what I have been told there are 14 firms that are using the encapsulation service. I have seen examples of four of them so far. One of them, S&G Rare Coins, was included in the slab book. They will not be listed individually in the second edition but will simply be listed as a type with a listing of the known companies.
