This has been a tough Ike to find

Talk about a tough one....1976-S CLAD TY 1 PCGS PR69 DCAMEO IKE DOLLAR. I have looked at countless proof sets and none of the Ikes have been close to 69 quality. I was told this was a tough date. I have noticed that all the scratches I have found on the Ikes in the 75 proof sets I've looked through are just about in the same place. Lower jaw and neck. These are very faint but turned into the light just right you can see them under 5x. Oh well, back to the drawing boardimage

    Might be better off just breaking down and buying one already slabbed.
    Thay are TOUGH to find!

    Doing that too...always looking for a slabbed PCGS. I've missed the few that have been on Ebay. I almost bought an ICG slabbed T-1 until I looked at it....AUGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!!!! It was graded PR69Dcam....it was terrible!!! So, the hunt continues.image

    The price on teletrade for them has dropped almost in half over the last year. Last year this time they were going for over $200, recently I have seen them go for $110.
