Just received an Australian $1 from a contest that was goin over the Christmas and New Years Holidays. A Kookaburra.
It's beautiful and very interesting with the frosted background on the inner part of the obverse and reverse. I suck at taking pix, but I did the best I could. The dark spot on her cheek is actually the lens of the camera.
It's also in a plastic case for protection, and I didnt want to break it out for the pix.

that's an interesting effect with the frost, similar in a way to how the U.S. did the reverse contrast on the Platinum's. i noticed a while back that Canada (i think it was them) has started issueing already colorized coins!! gonna put all the art deco businesses out of business.
