what was that post we had on Close Mint marks on pennies?

i found a nice 1970 S that had a close mint mark touching the 7 .
also i scored a 1957D AU BN wheat.

other than that nothign in coins

just a $10 1999 series BD 0003 9839 * star note which was cool

Are those true finds or were they found in store change?

Last week I found a $10.00 bill in the snow as I walked to the restaurant for breakfast and on the sidewalk in front of the high school I found a 1962d roosevelt (I knew immediately it was silver by the color). I also recieved a 1934 wheatie in change. All last week.

Got a $100. bill from the bank on payday that had,00000857, as the note #.Hung onto that one,not sure why.

I think he meant circulation finds, from where he works. Kinda neat, bein' able to do that. I can't help but imagine it would be fun to have a CoinStar machine or somethin'. You never know. I used to talk to a vending guy whose route included the hotel I worked at, and asked him what sort of stuff he found.

I opened up a roll of quarters at work and found one dated 1955. I also saw my first coin dated 2004, a 2004D cent.
