my wife got me a box for my birthday, get to open 18th, let you know. Hey, hope I didn't mess you up last nite - didn't know what I was lookin at - turned out the list was for ser I only. What about Bowman heritage?

Let me know if you are going to collect Bowman Heritage....we can trade cards as Im putting together a Master Set.
Also...I thought Topps Heritage was not going to be released till Feb 18th? How did you guys get it so fast?

NO THANKS FOR HELPING. Sorry about the caps. just ticks me off guy sold like 3 of those ex cards as sp's and got like 8$ a card on ebay and there not even sp's!
My wife buys me stuff from a small shop by the house - she hasn't given it to me yet - could be a preorder - yes on the Heritage - on the black borders - if you have trouble completing it - if I have any you can use - I'll send them to you - if a lot - for postage - I won't be collecting them.

As of now, I have 51 Black borders; signs of greatness pretty common - did pull 2 R. Hardens-so you can keep that in mind - depends how many you crack - a case?
was a case break over on the beckett board that yielded 2 GU and 2 autos and only one
of the black refractors.....thats not too hot....do you think topps is trying to sell this with
minimum effort and minimum bang for the buck just because they know that there is a
huge following?

you guys collect heritage? what are you looking for besides the auto's and relics?

If that is the case...I see these boxes dipping down to just above Bowman Heritage levels. There are too many products that provide decent "hits" that the average teenager is going grow tired of this product fast! There will still be a number of old-school guys like myself who will try to complete it...but I may wait a month or two when everyone starts dumping it big time!

Ive completed the last two years Master Sets (minus game used and autos). Then sold them off. I thinking of just going out and buying 2001-2003 Master Sets right off of eBay. The only problem is that if the people do not know how to ship...you may get a set where every card has a corner dinged....so Im having some second thoughts. The best way to complete the set is buy buying the base set complete and buying large lots of SPs on eBay.

That's cruel - it's different if you hold a few out for yourself, then its still luck of the draw - but that reeks of the days of shops cherry picking and you could buy 5000 packs and never get a Griffey rookie (like now I care?)

John....I have a great deal of short prints from 01-03 and could probably put together non-sp
sets of all three years if you were interested....just keep that in mind if you ever want to
put together sets.
It never thought about cherry picking a case, the autos aren't exactley easy to pull so it would
be kinda a crap shoot if you kept busting until you hit one and even then it might be a 10
dollar card.....Ive seen buy it nows in the 67-70 range...charmcity had it for 84! D&A no
price yet.

I dont think you can cherry pick this heritage product. but the donruss dk this year ill bet( i could be wrong) that buying boxes off ebay you wont get a 1 of 1 auto. they will bust them until they get it.If they hit the 1 of 1 auto on the first box they open, they stting on 500-1500$ back plus 15 boxes to sell off at cost and make a huge profit. as for this heritage flashback auto's are 1 in 30,000 packs or something crazy like that so you never know what is in them.
so i take back what i say about buying these on ebay i dont think you can find a case card in these like the donruss dk.
there arn't many singles up yet.
