1909 s VDB Lincoln....Would you or not?

I have been pulling some of my coins out trying to figure out which ones to send in for grading...

What do you think it would grade at if I sent it in? and

Who would you send it to ? PCGS or NGC

I don't know about grading Lincolns, but as to who to send it to... it all depends on several factors... PCGS has a better marketability on most coins, and will, in many cases, bring more when sold, but if you do Economy, they are slow as a slug, though you might have better luck if you did their 30 day service for $30, I'm not sure though, you'd have to ask the more experienced submitters, NGC will probally get the coin back quicker, and they had a 30 day service for $28, but then in some cases they would sell for less... at the moment if I were submitting coins, I would be going to NGC with their 30 day service...

The spot behind the head looks like it's growing. Send it to NCS and have them fix it, then forward it to NGC for grading.

I doubt you could get a 1909-S VDB through economy...

That coin should definitely be certified by one of them.I would send it to NCS first but have them send it back to you.I am buying a 1909-S VDB AU55 PCGS certified.

IMHO it would grade XF45 at best.
