  • Notice that bidder bcfexxpo is located in Sarasota as are sellers World-coin and sarasota coin.

I've gone round-n-round with eBay and shill bidding. Unless you are bidding on your own auction they just won't/don't do anything.

well the reason it came up, is that the high bidder in the auction for the coin that ended today had already won the coin in the Feb 4th auction image

and digging a little further, it looks like bidder bcfexxpo wins a lot of world coin auctions, but then world coin goes ahead and auctions the material again.

also, check the similar wording of feedback left by different sellers. image

too bad, too, because i was watching today's auction, thinking of pulling the trigger with an oversized snipe!

  • Shameless shills, protecting the seller from a lowball hammer.

You should have seen some of the auctions I saw this weekend -- the same shill bidder (with a feedback of 1) bidding on the same seller's auctions.

Hey, does anyone maintain a blacklist of Ebay sellers? If you've been burned by a seller, or if we detect fraud by a seller, perhaps we can keep a running list of usernames to avoid at all costs.

  • If you look at their bid cancellations, looks like they end more items early than makes it to the hammer.
    Seems veery suspisious(sp) to me
