How could you tell from that far? I took it into Photoshop and tried to blow it up, but the DPI was to low to even give me a decent idea of what exactly it was... and the slab was a bit overexposed...

I knew it was a 1943 from the color and just guessed at the D mint mark, had a 33 1/3 % chance at being right.

heh, where do you even see color? The slab is so overexposed everything is white, and the coin itself it just a blur that could be copper colored, and of course if you though it was the steelie color, it easilly coulda been silver... *shrug* Oh well... at least I was first to call it an ANACS slab...

Guam was occupied by Japanese in WW2 from few years and built big gun positions all around the island's beach positions. From my sign line which I added after game started you could figure Guam. The war penny from WW2 was another hint as well as mentioning of lurking in testing forum, as this last hint photo was posted in testing forum with "whatisitlocation" file name once I posted that clue here.
