It probably ended up in line what it should be, around $250.00 Not a great steal, nor did the bidder pay too high. A signed Mantle 8 x 10 goes for about half that, so the other half is the frame, plaque and repro card. The limited edition # to 1952 really adds no value to the item. Since there can be many other limited edition pieces, perhaps one of 1956 for his triple crown year, or the year he retire or the yaer he maded it to Cooperstown. Or one of 536 for his home runs and so on. Plus these limited edition pieces ae in no priice guide to chart its value. Anyway it seems like a nice piece, and Scoreboard had a bit of a name in their day so its probably a legit signed piece....jay
Although I think the above is also legit I would feel more comfortable buying a Scoreboard as I know they had a contract with Mantle during the 1990's.
