Can you dip fingerprints off Clad Ike's?

I have some Ike's that have some fingerprints that are distracting to me and I would like to remove or have them removed. Does anyone have any experience with dipping Clad Ikes?

    I have had good luck removing fingerprints by dipping clad coins in pure acetone.
    It doesn't harm the coin in any way, as far as I can tell.
    Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?
