I just don't get it. A seller with hidden feedback, running auctions with hidden bids, hawking garbage in third world slabs, yet he has thousands of dollars in bids placed in his auctions. Are people really this stupid?

It never really bothers me if a seller sells crap when there's no reserve. It's at about $11, so that would be a steal.

Russ - Yes, people are really that stupid. The old "there's a sucker born every minute" was way off - try every nanosecond. A fool and his money are soon parted.

In the same vein, we all know many of W.C. Fields famous quotes, e.g. "You can't cheat an honest man", etc. My all-time favorite is, "Never smarten up a chump."

Gadzooks! Even...Tru-Value is better than this. I was captured by the '82 Trade dollar (a favorite of mine) and I can't see the [justification for the] grade they've given it anywhere.

seller also has up on Ebay a 32-D Washington that has been "graded" by the same people. His auction only has a photo of the reverse, no obverse. I wonder why. Edited to say that now I see the pic of the obverse.
