I'll be talking about how to get the VAM updates assigned since the 4th edition of the VAM book was published in 1997, Leroy's special guides like the 7TF attribution guide, 1921-S Thorn head pamphlet, 1889 Doubled Ear attribution guide, 1921-P wide reed attribution guide, etc. I'll also discuss some of the 1921-D VAM news. Since my book came out there have been some incredible sales: An AU-53 1921-D dollar which normally sells for under $15 sold on eBay for $177 with spirited bidding from multiple collectors. Another dollar, a MS-61 coin, sold for $271, instead of the common price of $40 while an MS-63 coin went for a whopping $405. All of these were die break VAMs highlighted in my recent book. Not bad, huh?

Sorry no presentations on bust or seated dollars planned for the session. You are more than welcome to attend and see if other collectors are into them and want to share.

<< <i>DaveWang202: Looking forward to seeing you there! An update on the recent 79S reverse of 78 VAM-34B discovery would be great. If Larry Briggs still has an example I'll borrow it and have it at the session.

Hi Rob, not sure if there's enough new info for an update. I'm working on one though. The only "new" info relating to VAM 34B that I didn't put on the previous release was that Larry had found 3 more and that he has an interesting way of attributing it from the obverse. I'll work on that a bit.
