WIWAG Card 1950 Bowman

Hello folks,

Somehow I missed this whole WIWAG fraud that happened over a year ago (blame it on being in Canada), but I purchased a card back in January of 2002 just before the fiasco started. I purchased one card from them in total (a common) that I would like everyones advice on. The case seems to have a few white areas along the border, but I still feel the card is of decent quality. Does anyone know if I can still submit cards to PSA for the WIWAG issue? Tell me what you think.....

Your Chapman looks like a straight 7 to me. The picture got a litle blurry when I blew it up but it looks like a nice card whose centering has relegated it to being a 7.

The case to me on yours does not appear to look like many of the examples I seen in the WIWAG deal. The pictures of those clearly looked tampered with.

You holder does not look like it was tampered with. The clear areas on the sides, and top and bottom are still clear.

I doubt that the card you show there would have been considered for swapping. PSA 7 commons in that set aren't fetching the $ necessary to have made the swap worthwhile.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I think I will hold off for now sending it in its not a huge deal at 20$ but it was a good wake up call. From her on out I scrutinize cases along with the card.
