Have eBay, PayPal and the USPS brought joy to my life?

Today PayPal/eBay/USPS added the ability to print a label and charge my PayPal account for the postage.
I didn't try it yet (because the label looks too big for my slab sized padded envelope) but looking at the demo I see a great feature.
When going through the Demo it asks about INSURANCE !!!!
Does this mean that I can buy postal insurance on line without having to wait in line at the Post Office????
The problem I see is who will scan the label into the USPS system to know it has been put into the mail system?
Has anybody used this yet?

I am not sure about this new feature, but usually when I do my personal shipments using USPS online shipment, the details are electronically transmitted to them. You can immediately check with the numbers in the USPS website. I am sure this feature would have been incorporated into this new Ebay/paypal/USPS alliance.
