Buffalo for my slider set. Whaddya think?

1916 AU58

I think this looks like a nice original coin. The price of $27 seems about par for the course. Opinions?

    C'mon you picky &%^$&%^!
Someone has to have an opinion. Do you think I'm gonna spend that kind of money without some justification from my respected brothers (and sisters)?

Not a bad coin. It's from a good company that stands behind their coins, so you can't lose if you don't like it.

  • I see the rub on the reverse but the usual hair ribbon and hair details seem to be all there. It doesn't suffer from the peripheral weakness of so many of the series (though that wasn't much of a problem on the Philadelphia issues).

What would you grade it? 55? 53?

    Slider???

Are you guys kidding me? I've seen MS63's that didn't look that nice. Mojo, you did VERY well in my opinion! Yes, it's AU, but I think it's as boarderline as one could get.

What Shamika said. Looks at least 58 to me. Nice!

Looks like a solid 55 to 58 to me, the photo is not good enough color wise to tell if its original, but it probably is.

  • Nice looking coin!

AU58's seem to be a good value, especially if it's difficult to see the wear.
