<< <i>One thing that struck me with this silver is how good it looks in a collection. A dealer I know has trays of the stuff with all the reverses showing in date order. Very attractive...

Can you hook me up with this dealer? I'm looking for some George V South African, Southern Rhodesian, British West African, and East African silver coins.

<< <i>I like that S. Rhodesia coin too. Going to ebay that LLoyd?? >>
Beggars can't be choosers - I have a few others that are definitely going to Ebay on Sunday but I have three S Rhodesian Florins which I WISH to keep. "Wish" in the dream-on sense. I've been watching the SA threads and fancy them myself, along with the S Rhodesians, but but but .....
I've also been looking through my Krause for collecting options and note that you can get a full set of UNC SR Florins without getting into too much debt. The same goes for SA Shillings. There are no really way-out Pluto prices. I really like both of these types. With all the outsiders (including myself) lusting after them, they must be a good investment. A lot of Brits wanting UNC coins are finding it harder and harder and the Commonwealth seems a good alternative. But you can hardly go Canadian, Australia or New Zealand since these coins have BIG estimates on a significant number of their dates, so SA/SR seem the potential targets. (I ought to be on Wall Street ---- sweeping it).
Now I have to find a way to throw Wybrit off the scent
