Hi all,
Do you think this is a good deal or should I ignore it?
I am looking for the Franc's with Hercules on them.
I am not sure if those are the ones I am looking for.
Thanks for everyone's help!

WE DO NOT SHIP OUTSIDE THE US. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR ITEM SHIPPED TO A FOREIGN ADDRESS!We are listed on eBay as "Will ship to United States only" - Please pay attention to this as you are technically violating ebay guidelines if you bid, not just ours!
Scroll down his auction & you see:
Shipping and payment details
Shipping and handling: See description above or contact the seller for more information
Buyer pays for all shipping costs
Will ship worldwide.
I'm confused!
$3.85 Shipping.
Insurance is MANDATORY!! This is for YOUR protection, as well as ours.
$5.15 Ship/Ins. For something going for $9.96
He does have great feedback!

<< <i>These coins have been sitting in flips or envelopes, UNTOUCHED for OVER 30 YEARS! THEY HAVE BEEN UNDISTURBED FOR SO LONG THAT THE STAPLES IN THE CARDBOARD FLIPS HAVE ALMOST COMPLETELY DISINTEGRATED! >>
Hmm. Sounds like a PVC nightmare, to me.
PowerSeller + ALL CAPS TEXT + 10X as many terms and conditions as there is item description = Find another auction to bid on.
JUST MY 2 CENTS STARTING AT 25% OF CATALOG VALUE!!!!!!!!!!

I'm like Civitas, if you have to scroll down to read all of the fine print, I'll pass!

We are only talking about $15.00 (no pictures)
I am not sure if those are the ones I am looking for. If your not sure, you should pass.

<< <i>The price is fair, but....... my general rule of thumb is:
PowerSeller + ALL CAPS TEXT + 10X as many terms and conditions as there is item description = Find another auction to bid on.
JUST MY 2 CENTS STARTING AT 25% OF CATALOG VALUE!!!!!!!!!!

I completely agree. After viewing that auction, I scrolled down so fast that it took me a while to find the description amongst the "Terms and Conditions."

<< <i>We are aware of the discrepancy in our listing. The terms of sale we list in all of our auctions is automatically inserted from a saved template. You can only save one template for automatic insertion and its not worth the effort to go in and adjust the template for the rare occasion that we have items we are willing to ship outside the US. The only items we will ship outside the US are the group of foreign lots we have up now that are titled similar to this one: "FRANCE 5-50 Francs 1945-1971 VF-UNC,LOT OF 13". We will ONLY ship these auctions outside the US. All of our other material we ship to US only. We made an exception for these foreign lots and thats why we have listed "WE WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE BUT IF YOU DO NOT INSURE THE PACKAGE, WE ARE NOT LIABLE IF THE PACKAGE IS LOST OR DAMAGED!" with the description of the lot and why we put "Will ship worldwide" as the SHIP TO location. We figure the SHIP TO option for ebay's auction listing will be more valid in the case of some kind of dispute, more so than our terms of sale in the description, so we made sure to at least change that. But there was no reason to go and make the minor adjustment to the terms of sale for these few lots. Besides, you're one of the few people that actually read our terms of sale, most pay no attention to it! Thanks for that! Hope this helps! >>
I advised him he ought to make the exception clearer in his descriptions, since it confuses most buyers.
