    Nice, very nice.
    Buy the coin...but be sure to pay for it.

    There were a number of Monroes that had higher grades,

    but they also had dark or splotchy toning which tended

    to mask the coin. Most other examples had excessive marks or

    lakes the luster required of a MS coin. This appeared to be the nicest

    specimin I have found after a two year search and should fit in nicely with my set.

    The picture may not show it, but the coin has a nice light salmon color darkening

    slightly around the edges.This light even toning is especially with a coin having

    a very low profile in its minting. Too deep a tone and you really can't see much.

    The reverse of the Monroe is one of my all time favorite commem designs.
