Interesting a sickle, a cat O nine tails and some wheat. What could it all mean?

  • I don't know Bill. I was just impressed with it. The site had a much larger image and the detail is very good. List as XF and I think that is correct

K-167 General Fieldmarshal von Mackensen. Commerorating the victory in Galacia.

This has been on Pater's website for months with no bites. I, myself, have not been interested in it...it just doesn't grab me like other pieces Goetz has done. I will eventually need it for my collection but have others much higher on my personal list. Now if the price came down that might be another matter. S

I like the strong, and simple, symbolism on the reverse. It's sort of amusing, in a sadistic way, how the Russians are portrayed as hard task-masters, or rather slave-drivers, in getting the wheat production quotas.
