I started collecting Washington quarters in 1961. I would have found it difficult to have acquired 1958-D quarters looking like that 3 years after they were minted. So I must be jaded and old at the same time. Heck, even the quarters from the 1930's were no older in 1961 to me than the current quarters FROM THE 1970's ARE TO COLLECTORS TODAY.
This is scary!
I better quit, I am rambling again..........

Hate to bust you bubble guy but in 1961 quarters from the 1930's were as new
as 22 years old. This would be equivalent to a 1982 quater today.
On the plus side a 1982 quarter really isn't very old.
