Is there a way to promote toning? I have heard about artificial toning, but what conditions are required to get a coin to tone naturaly?
Or do you just stick in a box for about 75 years?

I had some SAE's tone very nicely over a period of about 5 or 6 years. I just left them in their original plastic holders with the tops
off in a cabinet. They were graded recently by PCGS.
Edited to mention that only the exposed sides toned for me.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
many, if not most, coin albums contain cardboard.

The best way to promote toning is to feature your auction. It costs $19.95 extra but will get your toned coin seen by more potential buyers. Outside of that, I can't think of too many ways to promote toning.

At work I have access to an industrial cutting torch. After burning some holes in some quarters my co-workers suggested cooking them in an oven.Took a handful of pocket change and cooked it @ 450 for 1 and a half hrs. They all turned colors but all were obviously AT.This is one of them.Has a decent golden color on front and an odd bluish gold on back.Other than that I'd just put'em in an album.
