I have some coins on the ebay....nothing great , just old coins from my childhood that really don't mean that much but are
mostly gathering dust.....so its time to sell em!....no biggy...right?


this guy emails me...."hi! i'm interested in your coin.... if it don't get any bids , will you sell it to me for less?"

his answer was one word..........................................................................................................................................................no.

he has obviously mistaken me for someone who has to sell a coin from someone who wants to sell a coin!

That takes some nerve alright - I always wait until after their auction has closed with no bids.

Sometimes I ask those questions, but I do wait till the end. Folks have asked me that, too, and prior to the close of auction. It does not bother me. If I am not willing to sell it for less, then I say so. If I don't mind selling for less, I also say so. I will not end an auction early though because of it. If there is a coin I don't want to sell for less and I get no bids, then it goes back in the safe. No biggie.
