NGC to start designating 5 or 6 steps on their FS graded nickels

I saw in the NGC news letter that NGC is going to start designating 5 or 6 steps on nickels that receive the full step grade. Wonder if PCGS will follow.

I doubt PCGS will follow, anytime soon.

I was also personally surprised by NGC's decision to call every FS nickel they have slabbed to date "6 step" upon resubmission. I have seen numerous NGC FS nickels that are not 6 step (although nearly all NGC FS nickels were always wonderful 5 step+ examples). They may want to re-examine that decision.
