Thank you.

  • I make a note of the issue price when I place an order, unfortunately I don't know where you would go to find that information. image

Wouldn't it be nice if the Mint's website had this information?

Sorry, can't help, but I'll give you a *bump*.
  • Hi,

    You could try:

    http://www.archive.org/

the old wayback machine. Try searching the US Mint pages by year, they may have it.

Alternatively I think the Redbook may have the original issue prices by year. (Edited to add: Nope this is wrong-sorry.)

Edited again: You can find some pricing here:

    http://www.usmint.gov/mint_programs/commemoratives/index.cfm?action=modern

If you were on US mint mailing list at time of issue, the mint sent ads and order forms listing the various options and prices for modern commems. I saved this stuff going back to the 1980's but have not as yet sorted it outof the other pricelists and literature I saved. There were also contemporary full page ads in Coin world and Numismatic News by US mint, just as there are now for modern commems.

Seth... CoinWorld has published and sells a book called "Commemorative coins of the United States Identification and price guide". It is written by Anthony J. Swiatek. It has the issue and preissue prices for all of the modern commemoratives.
