Selling PSA Graded Parkhurst Hockey Collection

I am looking for a buyer to purchase my PSA graded Parkhurst Hockey Collection. The collection includes more than 200 cards from 1951 through 1963. A number of my partial sets are rated on the Set Registry as part of the All Time or Current Finest Sets. To view the collection go to the Registry and check out sets from Rochester Hills. At this time I am interested in finding a single buyer for the collection. Inquiries may be sent to bruce@brucewhite.com. Many thanks, Bruce White

You have some very nice cards, but unfortunately my funds are too
low at this time. Some collectors were asking about you in
this thread, so maybe you can find a possible buyer.
    Good luck.
  • If anyone wants a spreadsheet that details out each card with the SMR just PM your e-mail address. I did all the work already.

  • cw...thank you very much for the lead. i have not looked on the boards for some time and would never have seen the thread. thanks again for the courtesy. best, bruce white
  • mr watson...thanks for the interest in the plante. let me see if i can sell the collection complete first. if that does work out the best i will be splitting it up and selling cards individually. it is a nice 58 plante. thanks very much, bruce white

I'd certainly be interested in the PSA 9 '53 Raglan and the 8's of Worsley and Jim Peters if you can't sell it as a whole collection.

    Bruce,

If you cannot find a buyer for the sets, I would be interested in the 51 Gordie Howe and the 57 Henri Richard

    Thanks,
    Ray

Bruce - That is a great collection you have. I would be interested in the Harvey and Geoffrion rookie and quite a few of the 63-64 Parkies if you ever decide to sell them individually.

Perfect, Tom. You buy 'em all and just sell us paupers the few cards that we need.

I can guarantee that Crandell wont be a major buyer of these cards . This is hockey not baseball you dont buy these for a percentage of SMR.

This is a major collection that would bring multiples of SMR for many cards on ebay and i think you will see these cards on ebay

  • Bruce, i would also be interested in your 1959 Plante and your 1961 Plante, along with the 58 previously mentioned.
  • I just heard from Bruce. He has elected to list all of the cards on eBay since bids for the entire collect are too low and people want bits and pieces.

They'll be listed once he completed scanning.

I was going to suggest to Bruce that selling each card individually
on ebay would probably get him the best return, but I didn't want to
hurt the chances of you guys getting the cards you really wanted for
    your collections.

Maybe he'll still sell you guys the specific cards everyone requested
(at fair market prices) since we were all so nice on this thread... image

He is selling under bwgee48017. The Howe rookie was just listed in PSA 8. It also says that in cases where there is a reserve it will be set at SMR.

he should send you a can of spam too
  • i thought i would have the first part of the collection ready by last night but life got in the way. i will wait until later in the week to post as i want to try to get things as right as i can. the howe slipped out accidentally. i changed the start date for the auction but must not have saved it so i was very surprised to see i had bids on a card i did not know i had listed. i know some of you are looking forward to seeing the cards appear and i apologize for the delay.
  • I have no idea what this " Life " thing is of which you speak and how it could possibly interfere with something as important as this, however I will be patient.
I look forward to seeing your auctions when they are listed.

    Also

If I may ask, are you leaving the hobby altogether or just going in a different direction?

Good luck with your auctions and have a great day.

    Rob,

I asked Bruce the same question. His direct quote was "I love collecting and one day I would like to indulge again, but i enjoy my business more. It has been a long downturn in the economy and I am just taking care of business. Every thing runs in cycles and I will probably have to buy these cards back again one day."

  • any update on when these cards will be listed?
  • I would be interested in any '54 Parkies which I need to upgrade my collection. Let me know what you have.
