That Jeter And Arod finest refractors are great.
  • How about doing bookends with Teddy Ballgame in the 1952 Topps instead of waiting for 1954?

High grade Williams' for #1 and #407, instead of Pafko and Mathews, might rival the Mantle card in value.

<< <i>A 1983 Willie McGee, made by either of the big three, showing him reaching over the center field fence in the World Series to steal that home run. I was in fifth grade at the time, living in St. Louis, and though to this day I have no idea who hit that ball (Gorman Thomas?) it ranks as my first great moment watching the game.

I'd also like a 1985 Donruss 'World Series Champs' card picturing the Tigers team. >>

I would love to know too. I was in the 4th grade at that time in Milwaukee. Your lucky Fingers was out with an injury. >>

    It was Gorman Thomas.

As great as McGee was, he wasn't the MVP of that series...and most people think he was.

So, who was? (no cheating by googling it...)

Don't know how this dinosaur thread ended up on the first page, but it was a good read. As a frank thomas guy, I wish they would have made both 1990 upper deck and donruss rookies. Mouchi made me up a couple 1990 rated rookies, one of which I had frank sign last summer.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

    1970 topps Thurman Munson......oh wait.

IT CAN'T BE A TRUE PLAYOFF UNLESS THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONS ARE INCLUDED

Here's my version of the '90 Donruss, I have an UD too, but it's not printed yet.

That Thomas is sweet. 1990 Donruss was the first wax box I ever purchased.
