What specific lighting does the graders at PCGS use?

I think it is not pointed out enough that a coin can look considerably different under various lighting sources. Perhaps some of the complaints in grading variances occur because of this.

I am trying to be on the same page so if possible (an sorry, yes I am kinda anal) I would like to know specifically what is the makeup of their lighting setup.

Specifically, but not limited to...

Incandescent or halogen or ?
What wattage they use: 60, 75 etc.
Frosted bulbs or clear
Over head or just a lamp in their immediate area
also, do they point the light source directly at the coin or just in the area
Typically, how far the light source is away from the coin
Do they use the same light source and setup for business strike and proof coins and toned coins as well

Anyother specifics would be tremendously appreciated and set my mind at ease.

Thank you in advance for your time.

    Hello Morris,

PCGS graders use incandescent 75W frosted oight bulds. The lamp is usually slightly in front of grader. The distance from light depends on a grader's focal point, it's usually between 8 and 15 inches. Same light for all coins.
